Warehouse & Studio Operations Manager (Part-Time)

Sunward – Gypsum, Colorado

Sunward is a handmade artisan accessories brand specializing in leather hat bands, trims, charms, and lightweight leather jewelry designed and produced in our Colorado studio. We are growing and looking for a highly organized, analytical, and proactive leader to help manage studio warehouse operations.

This is a key in-studio role for someone who thrives on systems, efficiency, and getting things done.

Position Overview

We are seeking a mature, detail-oriented, and motivated operations professional to oversee warehouse organization, inventory systems, staffing coordination, and day-to-day studio efficiency.

This is a part-time, in-person position (2–3 days per week) in our Gypsum studio.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Systems

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Oversee Shopify inventory tracking and product organization
• Audit inventory regularly and resolve discrepancies
• Improve warehouse organization and create efficient systems
• Forecast inventory needs and assist with purchasing recommendations
• Assist in Product production

Studio & Warehouse Operations

• Oversee daily workflow in the studio
• Ensure products are labeled, stored, and staged efficiently
• Maintain clean, streamlined warehouse organization
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
• Plan and coordinate studio events

Staffing & Coordination

• Assist with scheduling and staffing support
• Ensure tasks are clearly assigned and completed
• Support team accountability and productivity
• Step in and execute when needed — this is a “doer” role

Administrative Support

• Shopify product organization and reporting
• Analyze sales and inventory data
• Assist with event prep, packing, and logistics when required
• Track orders and prep shipments

• Tech-comfortable, especially with Shopify. Adobe suite a bonus.

• Mature, dependable, and drama-free
• A proactive “figure-it-out” personality
• Someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do

Bonus:

• Experience in warehouse management or small business operations
• Familiarity with artisan or product-based brands
• Basic understanding of inventory systems & forecasting

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time: 2–3 days per week (in-studio)
• Flexible scheduling within business needs
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
