We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead and oversee all daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse employees. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure productivity targets and quality standards are met.
- Operational Management: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Ensure all processes are carried out efficiently and accurately to meet customer demands.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts and full stock takes. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, and implement best practices for stock management.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce and uphold all company safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections, address hazards, and ensure all team members are trained in proper handling of goods and operation of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving warehouse efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Use data and metrics to analyze performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communication & Coordination: Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and management. Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, purchasing, and sales to ensure a seamless flow of information and goods.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving procedures.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and effectively, especially when faced with unexpected challenges like inventory shortages or equipment issues.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and management.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
