Warehouse Supervisor

About Company & Role Purpose

The Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor will manage the company’s warehouses with a strong emphasis on marble and granite showroom operations. This role includes ensuring effective inventory control, coordinating logistics, and implementing procedures to enhance efficiency in both warehouse and showroom environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

General

· Manage the complete operations of the company’s warehouses, focusing on marble and granite showroom products.

· Control and oversee warehouse inventory processes related to showroom displays and products.

· Coordinate with receiving, delivery operations, and quality control to ensure accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials associated with the showroom.

· Create and improve procedures for managing and reconciling periodic and physical inventory counts with the data storage system, ensuring showroom accuracy.

· Support the implementation of ERP and warehouse management systems tailored to showroom needs.

· Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and showroom by designing and implementing new layout plans.

· Update and maintain both warehouse and showroom inventory spreadsheets, ensuring real-time accuracy for showroom items.

· Inspect materials and notify for repairs or requisition replacements relevant to showroom displays.

· Schedule and assign employees to meet warehouse operational requirements, ensuring showroom readiness and product availability.

· Maintain staff performance standards and ensure health, safety, hygiene, and security in both warehouse and showroom settings.

· Manage delivery vehicles and logistics to maximize productivity in the context of showroom operations.

· Implement a barcoding system for managing showroom inventory efficiently.

• Produce monthly and periodic reports as required and coordinate all activities with the Accounts & HR Departments.

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.

· Experience in warehouse and showroom management, specifically in marble and granite, is required.

Skills

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

· Proficient in warehouse management systems and MS Office.

· Understanding of safety and security regulations in warehouse and showroom environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD500.000 - BD800.000 per month
