Job Description:

Victory Wine Group was established in 2015 as an innovative solution for wineries and distillers in Texas. In January 2023, Victory Wine Group became Maverick Beverage Company of Texas and in 2025 we became Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas. As an importer and distributor of fine wines and craft spirits based in Texas, we represent a high-quality, diversified collection of wines and spirits from around the world, many of which are family-owned and operated.

Warehouse/CDL A Line Haul Driver will primarily work in the warehouse. This position also serves as a backup to our Line Haul team, transporting product from the warehouse in San Antonio to one of our delivery hubs as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday

• Third Shift: Midnight and 2am start times available

Warehouse:

• Complete our forklift certification program

• Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations

• Replenish locations for selection

• Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product

• Order selection and cleanup activities as directed

• Issue, receive, pick, and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory

• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment

• Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner

• Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping

• Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy

• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned

• Properly recording breakage and clean-up of breakage

• Housekeeping as directed by supervisor

Line Haul (as needed):

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the equipment (tractor/53’ trailer)

• Load pallets at the San Antonio distribution center in a pre-determined sequence using a forklift

• Drive the product to various cross docks, including Dallas, Houston, Abilene, Austin.

• Unload the pallet of product at each respective cross dock and re load onto the local delivery trucks in the right sequence.

• You may need to load staged pallets to bring back to San Antonio.

• Competitive Pay Rates PLUS Overtime

• May conduct deliveries on the way back

• NOTE: Must be able to work in Warehouse when not dispatched to drive

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 3 year driving experience (tractor/trailer) / 5 years preferred

• A good driving record

• Detail oriented

• Self motivated, work independently and self managed to meet deadlines

• Current medical card

• Good communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and supervisors

Pay: $27.30/hour
