Warehousing & Supply Chain Consultant

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Warehouse & Supply Chain Consultant on contract/part time basis to build the Supply Chain model, drive both operational excellence and business growth. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in modern warehousing and logistics with a proven ability to identify new revenue streams, optimize commercial relationships, and significantly increase the overall profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of current warehouse processes, systems (WMS/ERP), and logistics workflows to identify bottlenecks and deliver cost savings.
• Design and recommend innovative, data-driven solutions for warehouse optimization, layout redesign, and automation implementation to enhance efficiency and reduce operational expenditure.
• Analyze vendor contracts, operational spending, and labor costs, recommending and implementing strategies to increase gross margins and overall business profitability.
• Advise on the selection, configuration, and successful integration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), robotics, and other automation technologies to support scalable growth.
• Lead high-impact implementation projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within budget, achieving defined performance and revenue objectives.
• Assist in migration from Oracle - SCM to new Business Application
• Assist the Software Development Team in designing the new WMS and Supply Chain Module by providing necessary guidance and inputs based on industry standards
• Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities within the existing clients and new markets by leveraging our logistics and warehousing capabilities.
• Develop and present compelling business cases for expanding service offerings (e.g., value-added services, final-mile delivery, specialized storage).
• Collaborate with the Marketing teams to translate operational efficiencies into a competitive advantage and profitable service contracts.

What We Need in the Candidate

• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain operations with a Logistics (3PL) or a Supply Chain company
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, project-based Supply Chain or Warehouse Consulting engagements on a contracting or part time basis.
• Demonstrated success in designing and building an end-to-end Supply Chain model or network from a conceptual stage through to implementation readiness.
• Extensive Experience in Business development within a logistics/warehousing environment.
• Deep functional expertise with leading Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and strong proficiency in financial and data modeling .
• Must be available to begin the assignment immediately and commit to the a minimum of 6-month term.
