Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Waste Management Specialist located in Karāchi.

• Develop relationship with recycling industry
• Secure B2B waste management contracts by identifying and closing deals with corporates, institutions, and commercial clients.
• Manage key client relationships and act as the main point of contact for ongoing service delivery, satisfaction, and retention.
• Source and negotiate material supply deals from businesses and suppliers to maximise commercial value.
• Develop and present pricing proposals and negotiate commercial terms with both clients and vendors.
• Support business growth by identifying new opportunities, tracking market trends, and reporting performance to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management, solid waste management, and recycling
• Understanding of different materials and how they are recycled
• Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in B2B business development or commercial sales specifically within the waste management, recycling, or materials recovery sector in Pakistan.
• Commercial Expertise: Proven track record of securing waste collection or recycling contracts, pricing material streams (plastics, paper, metals, etc.), and negotiating service-level agreements with corporate clients.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of local recycling supply chains, material pricing, and vendor ecosystems (e.g. aggregators, scrap traders, recyclers). Experience working with or competing against companies like Alico Waste Management is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using sales CRM tools, Excel, and reporting systems to manage pipelines and contracts.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to independently manage client relationships and close deals.

PKR 45000 - 80000 per month (DOE)
