Watchman

Job Summary:

The Watchman is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises while also assisting with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises for staff, visitors, and vehicles
• Conduct routine patrols inside and around the property
• Check doors, windows, gates, and equipment to ensure they are properly secured
• Respond to alarms, unusual activity, or emergencies promptly
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
• Ensure surveillance systems and alarm systems are functional
• Verify identity of visitors and maintain visitor logs when necessary
• Report any safety hazards, security breaches, or maintenance issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a watchman or in a security role is an advantage
• Ability to stay alert and act responsibly under pressure
• Good communication and observation skills
• Basic knowledge of emergency procedures
• Must be honest, punctual, and reliable

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
