Job Title: Watchman

Job Summary:

A Watchman is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. The role involves monitoring activities, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and guard the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
• Check and verify the identity of visitors and staff
• Maintain a logbook for visitors, vehicles, and daily activities
• Patrol the assigned area regularly
• Report any suspicious activities or security breaches immediately
• Ensure gates, doors, and windows are properly secured
• Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner
• Assist in enforcing company rules and safety procedures
• Coordinate with management or emergency services when required.

Requirements:

• Basic education (high school or equivalent preferred)
• Previous experience in security/watchman role is an advantage
• Good physical fitness and alertness
• Basic communication skills
• Ability to work shifts, including nights
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined
