Key Responsibilities
- Security & Surveillance
- Patrol property grounds regularly to deter theft, vandalism, or trespassing.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and parking areas.
- Check security systems (CCTV, alarms) and report malfunctions.
- Access Control
- Verify and record visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
- Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
- Assist residents and guests with directions and property access.
- Incident Response
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or security breaches.
- Report accidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior to management.
- Coordinate with local authorities when necessary.
- Property Care
- Ensure doors, gates, and windows are locked after hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around security posts.
- Support housekeeping duties if required (common in smaller real estate setups).
- Documentation
- Maintain daily logbooks of activities, incidents, and visitor records.
- Submit security reports to supervisors or property managers.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in security or watchman duties (real estate preferred).
- Knowledge of basic security protocols and emergency procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for long periods.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and responsibly.
