Flow Meter Supervisor – Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the installation, replacement, and commissioning of flow meters and transmitters for pipelines up to 2000 mm diameter.
• Review and verify mechanical drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and piping layouts prior to execution to ensure accurate site implementation.
• Ensure proper flange alignment, gasket selection, pipe orientation, and bolt tightening procedures during installation activities.
• Lead and supervise dismantling of existing flow meter systems and installation of new assemblies in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with fabrication and piping teams for modifications, spool adjustments, and structural support arrangements.
• Oversee all lifting, rigging, and handling operations for heavy flow meter equipment ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Ensure hydro testing, leak testing, and mechanical inspections are properly conducted after installation works.
• Manage pipeline shutdown activities and ensure safe isolation and preparation of systems before execution of replacement works.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
• Prepare and review method statements, work permits, inspection requests, progress reports, and completion documentation.
• Coordinate with instrumentation and electrical teams for transmitter installation, wiring, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure correct installation orientation and straight pipe length requirements are maintained as per manufacturer standards.
• Identify and resolve site issues such as vibration, leakage, flange mismatch, and pipeline misalignment.
• Participate in client inspections and support third-party testing, verification, and commissioning processes.
• Supervise technicians, welders, fabricators, riggers, and helpers to ensure efficient site execution.
• Ensure all tools, lifting equipment, and safety devices are inspected, certified, and properly used on site.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and project management regarding progress, technical issues, and site requirements.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
