Job Description
Water Restoration Technician
The Water Restoration Technician is responsible for performing top-quality water mitigation services for residential properties, while delivering excellent customer service. This role involves hands-on, construction-related work and requires rotating 'on-call/emergency response' availability. Ideal candidates should have experience in residential and commercial construction. Success in this position requires a great attitude, strong work ethic, good communications skills, attention to detail and the desire to learn and grow with us.
Job Requirements:

● Communicate effectively with customers/homeowners throughout the mitigation process.
● Perform water mitigation and restorations services in accordance with industry specifications and RestoPros protocols.
● Perform tasks associated with water mitigation projects such as demo and cleaning.
● Leave each job site clean and orderly.
● Document the mitigation process using industry-standard software and photo documentation through RestoPros systems.
● Perform daily moisture checks and drying progress, accurately documenting findings in the RestoPros system.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked truck, warehouse, and company equipment
● High School diploma or GED required.
Qualifications:
● Excellent customer service skills.
● Positive attitude, trustworthiness, dependability, ability to express empathy and a pleasant personality.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while communicating seamlessly with the Lead.
● Growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and career development within the company.
● Strong multitasking skills and quick responsiveness to various situations.
● Experience with general construction and demolition tools and tasks.
● Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance, including logging equipment usage, ensuring equipment remains in excellent condition.
● Ability to manage systems, including data entry and documentation.
● Experience working with Xactimate is a huge plus.
● Ready and willing to work overtime, after hours, weekends and on call as needed.
● Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
● Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
● Reliable transportation to and from work.
● Willingness to undergo background check.
● Willingness to undergo a driving record check – must have a clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
● Comfortable climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, and working in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
● Able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
● Capable of repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
Experience:
● Water Mitigation: 1 year of experience required.
● Restoration: 1 year of experience required.
● Experience with mold, smoke and fire mitigation (Preferred)
● Construction: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
License/Certification:
● IICRC-WRT certification (Preferred)

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
