WEAVING MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Weaving Manager to lead production operations at Nakshbandi Textile Mills. You will oversee the operation and management of our 48-loom waterjet facility, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality output, and team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on production capacity and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loom Management & Operations

- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of 48 waterjet looms

- Ensure looms operate at optimal efficiency and uptime targets

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues promptly

- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance coordination

• Production Planning & Scheduling

- Plan and execute weekly/monthly production schedules

- Manage yarn inventory (warp and weft) in coordination with procurement

- Track production progress against targets

- Optimize production flow to meet customer deadlines

• Quality Control

- Implement and maintain rigorous QC procedures throughout weaving

- Monitor fabric GSM, pick density, and weave structure consistency

- Identify and correct quality defects before fabric exits production

- Work with technical team on fabric specifications and testing

• Team Leadership

- Lead and supervise weaving floor team (weavers, technicians, operators)

- Provide technical training and skill development

- Ensure workplace safety and discipline

- Create a high-performance, motivated work environment

• Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve productivity

- Implement best practices and stay current with industry advancements

- Communicate technical issues and improvement recommendations upward

CANDIDATE PROFILE Required Qualifications: ✓ Minimum 5–10 years of direct experience in waterjet weaving environment ✓ Comprehensive knowledge of waterjet loom mechanics and operation ✓ Strong understanding of warping, weaving, and fabric quality standards ✓ Proven ability to manage production schedules and meet targets ✓ Team leadership and people management experience ✓ Intermediate to Bachelor's level education (DAE Textiles, B.Tech Textile, or equivalent preferred) ✓ Age: 30–50 years Desirable Skills: • Experience with polyester fabric weaving • Familiarity with 48-loom or similar large-scale operations • Knowledge of GSM calculations, pick density, and weave structure • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Effective communication in Urdu and English • Computer literacy (Excel for production tracking)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs175,000.00 per month
