Web Channels Senior Manager (Chapter Lead)

The Web Channels Senior Manager (Chapter Lead) is responsible for defining the strategy, governance, and performance of all web-based channels across the organization. This role provides senior-level leadership across engineering, UX, and content, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences aligned with business objectives.

The Chapter Lead drives best practices, enables capability growth, and ensures the continuous evolution of web platforms and delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the web channels strategy and roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing web chapter (front-end, back-end, and platform engineers)
• Establish standards, governance, and best practices across web development and delivery
• Oversee architecture, performance, scalability, and security of web platforms
• Drive cross-functional alignment with product, UX, marketing, and business teams
• Ensure consistent branding, usability, accessibility, and user experience across all web channels
• Introduce and standardize modern frameworks, tools, and engineering practices
• Monitor and improve web performance KPIs, user engagement, and conversion metrics
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and platform modernization efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 9–12 years of experience in web technologies, including leadership roles
• Proven experience leading large-scale web platforms or digital channels
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture, APIs, CMS, and cloud environments
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on or leadership experience with React, Angular, Node.js
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Agile / SAFe frameworks
• Exposure to enterprise digital platforms or government-scale systems
