HALO is looking for a Web Content Specialist to be the liaison between merchandise, fulfillment, and online store departments, ensuring smooth and timely communication of customer needs. Responsibilities include general oversight, developing connections, and recommending quality and work-flow improvements that streamline processes and ultimately ensure superior customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Function as a liaison from internal teams to the Web Operations team in support of all microsites and interfaces.
  • Be a subject matter expert on our specific eCommerce software platforms and the features (back end) including all areas that can be edited without code manipulation.
  • Communicate with internal teams as milestones are met and assignments completed, ensuring the client key contact is updated as necessary.
  • Manage data collection from external clients and internal team for microsite development and work with web developers on configuration for each microsite.
  • Perform microsite functions, including but not limited to - item addition, report generation, gift code/coupon set up and basic troubleshooting.
  • Receive training from web developers and in turn train the team, empowering them to self-serve when possible.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position, plus 1 year experience working with e-commerce platforms
  • Familiar with website analytics and content management tools
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is helpful but not required
  • Strong and consistent attention to detail while multi-tasking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Possess basic technical knowledge and curiosity when it comes to solving technical software issues as they pertain to eStore functionality and user experience.
  • Able to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences using a teaching approach.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize, and proactively manage tasks and projects
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow initiatives through to implementation.


Compensation:
The estimated hour rate range for this position is between $19.00 - $26.00. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
