Web Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and skilled Web Designer with deep expertise in WordPress and a passion for building high-quality, visually compelling websites.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites in WordPress, with knowledge in CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Ensure websites are optimized for usability, accessibility, and search engine performance (SEO).
• Maintain and update existing websites, mainly WordPress, ensuring they remain functional and up-to-date with current trends.
• Create and work on e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce and other E-commerce solutions to troubleshoot when needed, enhance online shopping experiences through effective layout design.
• Utilize graphic design skills to create logos, banners, and other visual content as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in web design tools such as WordPress, Adobe or similar software.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Strong understanding of front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
• Understanding of usability principles and web accessibility standards to create inclusive designs.
• Ability to conduct user research and apply findings to enhance website functionality and aesthetics.
• Strong typography skills along with an eye for layout design and visual hierarchy.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Freelance

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week

Work Location: Remote
