Web Designer/Developer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging websites using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, Bootstrap, and Vue.js.
• Create compelling visual content utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and After Effects.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance user experience (UX) and interface (UI) design.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, InVision, Axure, and Visio to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Optimize websites for SEO best practices and web accessibility standards to maximize visibility and inclusivity.
• Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint, or custom platforms using PHP, MySQL, and other backend technologies.
• Analyze web analytics data through Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools to inform design improvements and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital marketing specialists to integrate email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar platforms.
• Ensure website security and performance by managing code repositories with Git or Bitbucket and performing regular website maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design and front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive websites.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (including AJAX), and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Skilled in graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, After Effects, and Dreamweaver.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles along with information architecture and wireframing techniques.
• Familiarity with content management systems including WordPress, Drupal or SharePoint; experience with PHP and MySQL is a plus.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO optimization strategies.
• Data analysis skills using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to interpret user behavior insights.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git; knowledge of Node.js or Redux is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear visual solutions.
