Web Developer

About the Role
Favour Foundry (aka The Foundry) is a fast-growing marketing studio in California’s Central Valley, specializing in food, beverage, and agriculture. We’re looking for a Web Developer to join our creative team and help bring brands to life through high-performing websites and digital campaigns.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled developer who enjoys blending creativity with functionality. You’ll work on building, maintaining, and optimizing websites, while also supporting e-commerce development and digital marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Proficient in coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; additional frameworks a plus)
• Strong experience developing and maintaining websites in WIX, WordPress and Shopify
• Skilled in setting up and managing email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp or similar platforms)
• Understanding of SEO best practices and site performance optimization
• Experience integrating third-party tools, apps, or APIs into websites
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Able to balance technical execution with design and brand consistency
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in learning new tools and technologies

Responsibilities

• Build and customize websites in WIX and Shopify, ensuring responsive and user-friendly design
• Maintain, update, and optimize existing websites for performance and SEO
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and the creative team to ensure sites align with brand strategy
• Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including automation and list management
• Integrate e-commerce tools, payment systems, and other third-party apps
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
• Track site and campaign analytics, providing insights for optimization
• Stay up-to-date on web development trends, tools, and best practices

Job Type: Full-time independent contractor
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Work Location: Hybrid — a mix of remote work with in-person collaboration at our Kingsburg, California office (and our upcoming Fresno office)
