Job Title: Web Manager

Reports To: Director, Performance Marketing


Job role :

As The Red Palace prepares for its opening phase, the Web Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Palace’s digital web presence to ensure performance excellence, brand consistency, and seamless user experience.

The role focuses on end-to-end website governance, combining technical oversight, content management, UX optimization, and cross-functional coordination to support marketing, commercial, and operational objectives in a luxury hospitality environment.


Responsibilities

  • 1. Website Management & Performance

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Palace’s website(s), ensuring accuracy, stability, security, and uptime.

Monitor and optimize website performance, including loading speed, responsiveness, usability, and technical health.

Coordinate website enhancements, updates, and feature rollouts in line with approved priorities and timelines.

  • 2. Content Management & Brand Consistency

Oversee website content updates in collaboration with Marketing, PR, HR, and Operations teams.

Ensure all website content adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity standards.

Manage CMS platforms, ensuring content accuracy, version control, and error-free publishing.

  • 3. SEO, Analytics & Performance Insights

Implement and maintain SEO best practices to enhance search visibility and organic traffic.

Monitor website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.

Prepare structured performance reports, translating data into insights and optimization recommendations.

  • 4. User Experience (UX) & Conversion Optimization

Continuously review and optimize user journeys to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.

Conduct usability reviews and testing, recommending UX/UI enhancements where required.

Ensure intuitive navigation, clear information architecture, and effective call-to-action placement.

  • 5. Technical & Vendor Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact for web developers, designers, hosting providers, and technical vendors.

Coordinate bug fixes, system updates, security patches, and maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, accessibility, and cybersecurity standards.

  • 6. Campaign & System Integration

Support digital marketing campaigns through landing page development and optimization.

Coordinate website integrations with booking engines, CRM systems, payment gateways, or other platforms, where applicable.

Ensure alignment between website functionality and the broader digital ecosystem.

  • 7. Culture & Brand Representation

Embrace and demonstrate the Palace’s legacy values and competencies in all internal and external interactions.

Act as a custodian of brand standards across all web touchpoints.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in website management or digital roles.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and core web development principles.
  • Experience with SEO, analytics tools, and digital performance tracking.


Preferred:

  • Experience in hospitality, luxury brands, or multi-property environments.
  • Familiarity with booking engines, CRM systems, or e-commerce integrations.
  • Understanding of UX/UI best practices.
