Website Administrator

We are seeking a candidate to be responsible for the presentation and management of BCW’s e-commerce website. The position ensures that all products for sale by BCW Supplies are visible, searchable, and shoppable, by consumers, wholesale partners, & distributors through our website.

Reports to: General Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Management:

• List, update, and manage product data fields in both ERP and e-commerce website.
• Create SEO friendly content for the website.
• Coordinate with marketing and marketplace team(s) about new product(s).

Inventory Management:

• Monitory inventory data and levels for items.
• Coordinate with purchasing team about imported goods.
• Coordinate with production team about domestically produced goods.

Maintenance:

• Regularly perform website checks to ensure that all product listings, images, and content are up to date and accurate.
• Collaborate with hosting provider or dev team address any technical issues, bugs, or glitches on the e-commerce website.

Development:

• Work closely with dev team to improve the visual elements and user interface (UI) of the e-commerce site.
• Implement custom functionalities, plugins, and extensions as required.
• Collaborate with dev team to customize the e-commerce platform to meet specific business needs.
• Coordinate with supervisor about website functionality and suggest potential features to create a user-friendly experience for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technical, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Magento.
• Understanding of rudimentary coding such as CSS and HTML, PHP, and JavaScript
• Experience with MS Nav or similar ERP.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft and Google Suites.
• Experience in search-engine and keyword optimization preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
