• Maintenance & Performance: Oversee daily operations, ensure smooth functionality, optimize site speed, and monitor traffic/performance using analytics tools. Content Management: Update and manage website content, including text, images, and media, often using CMS platforms like WordPress. Security & Backups: Implement security measures, perform regular data backups, and maintain disaster recovery plans. Technical Support: Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and provide support to users/teams. Development Collaboration: Work with developers and designers on new features, site structure, and aesthetic improvements. Server & Hosting: Configure and manage web servers (Apache, Nginx) and potentially cloud services (AWS, Azure). SEO: Implement basic search engine optimization to improve visibility. Required Skills: Technical: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web servers, CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal), and analytics tools (Google Analytics). Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication for working with diverse teams. Organizational: Ability to manage tasks, documentation, and priorities. Typical Requirements: Experience in website administration or a related IT role. A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is often preferred.
