Website Developer

Job Description

• Develops, maintains, and enhances NSF web content and functionality within Drupal-based environments.
• Implements layouts, components, and templates using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensures responsive design, performance optimization, and Section 508/WCAG compliance.
• Integrates multimedia content and supports publishing/editing requests via Drupal, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Applies U.S. Web Design System principles and federal web best practices.
• Troubleshoots issues and resolves tickets within established service levels.
• Collaborates with designers and UX staff to deliver user-centered experiences.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field; or
• Equivalent professional experience.

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional web development experience.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Drupal CMS.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with accessibility remediation and federal web standards.
• Experience supporting enterprise or federal websites preferred.
