Job Description
- Develops, maintains, and enhances NSF web content and functionality within Drupal-based environments.
- Implements layouts, components, and templates using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensures responsive design, performance optimization, and Section 508/WCAG compliance.
- Integrates multimedia content and supports publishing/editing requests via Drupal, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
- Applies U.S. Web Design System principles and federal web best practices.
- Troubleshoots issues and resolves tickets within established service levels.
- Collaborates with designers and UX staff to deliver user-centered experiences.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field; or
- Equivalent professional experience.
Experience / Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional web development experience.
- At least 3 years hands-on experience with Drupal CMS.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with accessibility remediation and federal web standards.
- Experience supporting enterprise or federal websites preferred.
