The Website Manager at PCSP is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for leading the digital platform strategy and execution for our website. This position plays a critical role in aligning website, SEO, Google Business Profile, email marketing, and analytics efforts with client business goals to drive measurable growth.
As the primary owner of the website, you will develop and document digital strategies, translate business objectives into actionable initiatives, oversee website development and optimization, and deliver data-driven recommendations that improve performance and ROI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Creative, and Technical while serving as the key strategic point of contact for all web-related matters.
This consultative role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong client communication skills. Final authority on major strategic decisions rests with senior leadership, allowing you to focus on building high-impact strategies and ensuring flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development & Client Support
- Build, present, and document tailored digital strategies aligned with client business goals.
- Lead website and digital platform strategy sessions to translate objectives into actionable, measurable initiatives.
- Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for web-related initiatives.
Website Strategy & Projects
- Define and lead the strategic vision for website growth, including sitemap architecture, content flow, UX/UI priorities, and conversion optimization.
- Review and approve site designs, wireframes, and functionality prior to final Director/Lead approval and development.
- Oversee SEO implementation, including keyword optimization, metadata, technical enhancements, and performance monitoring.
Website Retainer & SEO Oversight
- Perform comprehensive audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis to develop and refine SEO strategies.
- Ensure on-page SEO best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and technical optimizations are implemented and maintained.
- Manage requests for new pages, site updates, and ongoing improvements while monitoring rankings and search visibility.
Google Ads & Paid Media Support
- Contribute to Google Ads campaign development, including audience targeting, landing page strategy, keyword planning, and alignment with overall goals.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize ROI.
- Collaborate with creative and media teams to ensure consistency across paid channels.
Google Business Profile Management
- Lead strategy for Google Business Profiles, including setup, optimization, content updates, and review management.
- Monitor local SEO performance and recommend enhancements to boost visibility, engagement, and local search rankings.
- Maintain consistency of NAP (Name, Address, Phone) data and manage services, posts, and Q&A.
Email Marketing Strategy
- Support the strategy, setup, and optimization of email campaigns, including automation, segmentation, list management, and performance tracking.
- Advise on messaging, timing, and metrics to maximize engagement and alignment with broader marketing efforts.
- Partner with Sales and media teams for integrated campaign execution.
Analytics & Reporting
- Set up and maintain dashboards in Traction, Google Analytics, and keyword tracking tools.
- Analyze site traffic, user behavior, conversion data, and campaign performance to evaluate ROI and identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver insightful reports and strategic recommendations based on data trends and client objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Work closely with internal teams (Ecommerce Sales, B2B Sales, Customer Service, and Technical) to ensure web initiatives support overall account goals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and broken links.
- Conduct thorough QA testing across devices and browsers; schedule launches and manage project roadmaps to meet deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience
- CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience building and managing websites in BigCommerce, Squarespace, WordPress, or Shopify.
- SEO Proficiency: Strong knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, including keyword research/placement, metadata, technical optimization, and accessibility.
- CRM Experience: Proven experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM platforms) for email marketing, automation, segmentation, and list management.
- Troubleshooting & QA: Excellent debugging skills and meticulous attention to quality assurance across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Digital Tools: Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, email platforms, and basic Google Ads support.
- Communication & Strategy: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; strong strategic thinking that links web efforts to business growth.
- Client Focus: Experience working directly with clients or internal customers on feedback, revisions, and launches.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years in a fast-paced agency or media environment.
- Basic understanding of Google Ads campaign structures and optimization.
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Yoast.
- Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework.
- Advanced analytical skills using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Sheets, or similar.
