Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using the POS system.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
  • Assist in upselling services and products to enhance guest experience.
  • Process payments accurately through cash register operations.
  • Stock front desk supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Skills

  • Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
  • Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of retail math principles is a plus for managing inventory and sales reports.
  • Experience with stock management to ensure availability of front desk supplies.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for processing payments efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members alike.

Please Note that we are located in New City (Rockland County), not NYC.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
