Overview
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. This role is vital in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, including geriatrics and inpatient care, and will be committed to delivering high-quality care tailored to each client's unique needs. This position is 15 hours spread over Saturday and Sunday. Flexible hours.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with meal preparation and nutritional planning to ensure proper dietary needs are met.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's well-being.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Requirements

• Experience in In Home Caregiving is preferred.
• Background in geriatrics is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
