Welders Needed For Our Manufacturing Team in Virginia Beach, VA!

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled welders to become a part of our dynamic team. This full-time, contract-to-hire position offers competitive pay ranging from $18 to $35 an hour (depending on skills/experience level, shift and assessment). Day and night shifts available.

What You'll Do:

• Master a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, wire, spot welding, and using an oxy/acetylene torch.
• Bring your creativity to life by fabricating and assembling components such as I-beams, frames, and fuel tanks in diverse positions.
• Unleash your technical skills by reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Prepare materials and set up equipment for both fabrication and rework tasks.
• Enhance the final product with hand tools like grinders and sanders for a perfect finish.
• Ensure excellence by inspecting welds and completed products, and reworking them as needed.
• Maintain equipment meticulously to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Collaborate on pressure testing and conduct thorough quality checks.
• Keep track of your work and report any production or safety concerns.

• Independence in following instructions and executing tasks efficiently.

Your Background:

• Over 2 years of experience in a manufacturing welding environment.
• Proficiency with a variety of welding tools and equipment.
• Solid foundation in basic math and measurement skills.

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• MIG certification is preferred, showcasing your expertise.
• TIG certification is a plus, highlighting your versatility.
• Vocational welding training is an added advantage, demonstrating your commitment to the craft.
