Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets industry standards. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other welding processes to join metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding and assembly
- Execute precise pipe bending, tube fabrication, and fitting tasks in accordance with ASME codes & standards and project specifications
- Conduct maintenance on welding equipment and perform soldering as needed for plumbing or HVAC applications
- Rigging materials safely for lifting and positioning components on construction sites or manufacturing floors
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to ensure a secure work environment
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, and fire sprinkler fitting in industrial or construction settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction site procedures, pipe threading, tube bending, and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to pipeline fabrication and structural welding practices
- Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and schematics
- Previous involvement in manufacturing or construction projects involving plumbing, HVAC systems, or maintenance tasks is highly desirable
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations
