Welder (ARC/MIG) and Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking an experienced ARC/MIG Welder to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding heavy steel like scaffolding and be proficient in various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ARC or MIG welding on heavy materials.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections of welds to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to technical drawings.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery, diagnosing issues effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support project goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in all tasks.
• Document maintenance activities and report on machinery performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an ARC or MIG Welder.
• Ability to handle and manipulate heavy materials.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
