DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

URGENT HIRING

• Cost Estimation: Develop precise cost estimates for metal fabrication, fitout, and interior design projects, factoring in materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Quantity Take-offs: Extract material and labor requirements from project drawings and specifications to produce accurate take-offs.
• Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination: Request and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to source necessary materials and services.
• Drafting: Design and produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for fabrication, fitout, and interior design projects.
• Material Specifications: Specify material types, finishes, and dimensions clearly in technical drawings to ensure proper fabrication and assembly.
• Project Tracking: Track the status of estimates and drawings to ensure their timely preparation, submission, and approval.
• Documentation: Keep thorough records of all estimates, drawings, revisions, and approvals for future reference and project continuity.
• Site Evaluation: Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, take measurements, and collect necessary data for accurate estimation and drafting.
• Internal Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure cost estimates and designs align with technical specifications and project schedules.
• Troubleshooting: Provide support in resolving design or fabrication issues during the project execution phase.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all estimates and drawings adhere to applicable safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
