Position Overview:

The CAD Draughtsman at IMPACT will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation to support the design and execution of interior projects. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with designers and project teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Technical Documentation:
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, based on design requirements.
• Create accurate technical documentation for manufacturing, installation, and construction purposes.
• Revise and update drawings as required by project managers or designers.
• Design Collaboration:
• Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements.
• Translate conceptual designs into technical drawings while ensuring all details are accurately represented.
• Ensure the designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Material and Product Detailing:
• Provide precise joinery, material, and furniture detailing for projects.
• Specify measurements, materials, and finishes to align with project designs.
• Quality Assurance:
• Verify the accuracy of drawings and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Identify and rectify any discrepancies in drawings or designs.
• Project Coordination:
• Coordinate with site teams to clarify technical details and address on-site queries.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project schedules.
• Documentation Management:
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project-related documentation.
• Provide regular updates on drawing status to project teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, CAD Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Draughtsman in the interior design or construction industry.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in AutoCAD and familiarity with 3D modeling software like SketchUp or Revit.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and interior detailing.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
