About the Role

We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to handle the setup, welding, and assembly of our specialized refrigeration and air control units. This isn't just high-volume production; it’s about craftsmanship and precision with thin-wall stainless steel.

What You’ll Do

• Precision Welding: Master TIG welding on thin-wall stainless steel (primarily 22-16 gauge).
• Fabrication: Cut, prepare, and finish stainless steel sheets and tubing to exact specifications.
• Specialized Assembly: Perform silver-solder brazing and assemble fabricated components for mechanical refrigeration devices.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and follow mechanical drawings and blueprints with high accuracy.
• Quality Control: Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, rulers) to ensure every part meets our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional TIG welding experience (Required).
• Laser welding experience is a plus!
• Technical Skills: Proficient in TIG welding and silver-solder brazing.
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawings.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Strong basic math skills and experience with precision measuring devices.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with mechanical assistance.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Versatility: Willingness to operate a fork truck and assist in other production areas as needed.
