Welder/Fabricator/Fitter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and attention to detail. Duties

• Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.
• Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
• Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding and fabrication environments.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills is highly desirable. Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
