Welder/Fabricator/Fitter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality assemblies, structures, and ductwork that meet strict industry standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about craftsmanship, ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety and quality are paramount.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Reads shop drawings and weld fillet gauges
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps and track-welds part to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts in normal position and out of positions; such as vertical plate and tubular connections, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand/walk for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Lifting in excess of 50 lbs. requires use of a forklift or assistance.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Basic ability to read, write, and speak in English.

· Ability to read shop drawings and weld fillet gauges

· Class A or B welder, with unlimited GMAW certification
