Welding Inspector

We are looking for a Welding Inspector (QA/QC) to join our quality team. The role involves monitoring welding and brazing activities, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and project standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of welds and joints.
• Oversee Brazing Procedure Specifications (BPS) and Brazer Qualification Tests (BQT).
• Witness and document welder and brazer qualification tests.
• Coordinate Non‑Destructive Testing (RT, UT, MT, PT) and review reports.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and final quality dossiers.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification.
• 2–5 years of experience in welding/brazing inspection (oil & gas, construction, fabrication).
• Strong knowledge of WPS, PQR, WQT, BPS, BQT, and NDT processes.
• Familiarity with ASME Section IX, AWS D1.x, API, and ISO standards.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Valid driving license for site mobility.
