West Lounge Bartender

Bartenders at CCB should be polished, knowledgeable, service-driven, and able to provide an upscale experience to all members and guests. Ideally, with a passion for creating cocktails, using premium products, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position supports the service team by ensuring timely, accurate delivery of food, maintaining dining room cleanliness and organization, and upholding the high standards of service expected at CCB.

Job Summary:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages deliver food from kitchen to dining areas.

Schedule: Full-Time; Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 3:00PM-11:00PM; alternating Sundays from 10:00AM-2:00PM

  • Tuesday and Wednesday are flexible

Pay Rate: $20-$22 based on experience *plus gratuities that can average between 15-20% per pay period

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits with precision and consistency.
  • Promptly and accurately deliver food from kitchen to dining areas
  • Verify plate presentation, order accuracy, and temperature before delivery
  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail techniques; confidently make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Always maintain a clean and organized bar. Uphold all health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding orders and special requests
  • Assist with clearing plates, resetting tables, and maintaining smooth service flow.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation and health regulations
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
  • Support special events, banquets, and private functions as needed
  • Refill water, bread, butter, and other table items as needed
  • Monitor guest consumption according to local laws.
  • Collaborate with management and fellow bartenders on seasonal menus, specialty cocktails, and bar presentations.
  • Maintain bar inventory, communicating with Bar Supervisor when product is needed.
  • Rotate on a daily or weekly basis as a cocktail server for the lounge area.

We look for team members who have a strong work ethic, and who are productive, efficient, and able to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume environment is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to operate a POS system
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail creation, premium spirits, wine and beer
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled based on operational needs.
