Overview

Bid My Ride is a dealer-only wholesale operation looking for an experienced auto buyer to source and purchase vehicles on our behalf. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working Manheim , understands wholesale risk, and knows how to buy cars profitably at auction.

This is a commission-only, performance-based role — not corporate procurement and not retail sales.

Responsibilities

Buy vehicles through Manheim, ADESA, ACV, other dealer auctions, dealer trades, and private sellers

• Lane buying
• OVE / Simulcast bidding
• CRs, PSI reports, arbitration rules, and title announcements
• Evaluate vehicles using MMR, market data, recon estimates, and transport costs
• Inspect vehicles in person when needed and accurately assess risk
• Follow defined buy limits, recon caps, and approval rules
• Communicate full vehicle details clearly:
• VIN
• Mileage
• Title status
• Known issues
• Coordinate basic post-purchase steps (title flow, condition reporting)

Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

• Proven experience buying and selling vehicles at Manheim
• Strong understanding of:
• Manheim auction lanes & Simulcast
• Wholesale pricing and MMR
• Recon math and risk management
• Title status, announcements, and arbitration windows
• Comfortable buying volume and operating independently
• Wholesale-only mindset (no retail flipping)
• Reliable communication and discipline with capital

Compensation

• Commission-only
• Paid 10% net-profit per vehicle purchased, paid after sold
• No salary or hourly pay
• Paid per car
• No cap on volume

Work Structure

• Flexible schedule
• On the road / auction-based
• Metro Atlanta
• Selling at Manheim Atlanta

This role is for someone who already knows how to make money buying cars at dealer auctions.
