Figeroux & Associates is a full-service law firm dedicated to providing clients with compassionate, knowledgeable, and effective legal representation. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning Paralegal to join our growing team.

The paralegal will support attorneys in all aspects of estate planning and administration. Responsibilities include drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate petitions, and managing estate administration in Surrogate’s Court. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, with prior estate planning experience strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care proxies.
- Assist with probate and administration petitions in Surrogate’s Court.
- Manage estate administration including asset collection, accountings, and fiduciary coordination.
- Conduct legal research on estate matters.
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions.
- Prepare affidavits, deeds, and related documents tied to estate matters.

Qualifications

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning (NY preferred).
- Knowledge of Surrogate’s Court practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software.
- Strong organizational, research, and communication skills.
