Wind Energy Sales / Business Development

Ventos Power Plus is a Texas-based wind energy service company providing specialized mechanical, electrical, composite, and technical support services for utility-scale wind farms across the United States. Our team supports a wide range of turbine platforms including GE, Siemens Gamesa, Acciona and Vestas.

Our services include major component exchanges, gearbox and generator work, borescope inspections, blade services, troubleshooting campaigns, and general site support for wind farm owners and operators.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a driven sales professional with wind industry experience to help grow relationships with asset owners, operators, EPCs, and site managers across the U.S.

Position Overview

The Wind Energy Sales / Business Development role will focus on identifying new opportunities, building relationships with wind farm operators and asset managers, and expanding Ventos Power Plus’ presence across the wind energy sector.

This role is ideal for someone who understands wind turbine operations and knows how to communicate with site managers, operations teams, and procurement departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with wind farm owners, operators, and EPC contractors
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
• Identify upcoming service needs such as major component exchanges, inspections, blade work, and site support
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to develop quotes and proposals
• Attend industry events, conferences, and site visits to strengthen industry relationships
• Follow up on leads and project opportunities
• Track sales pipeline and project opportunities
• Work closely with field teams to ensure client expectations are met

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• Experience in the wind energy industry
• Prior experience in sales, business development, or renewable energy services
• Strong understanding of wind turbine maintenance or major component work
• Existing relationships within the wind industry (asset owners, operators, or EPCs)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel to wind sites and industry events as needed
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Background

• Wind turbine technician experience transitioning into sales
• Wind operations or site leadership experience
• Renewable energy service sales experience
• Knowledge of turbine platforms such as GE, Acciona, Siemens Gamesa, or Vestas

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
