About the Role:

The Window Treatment Sales & Design position is pivotal in transforming clients' spaces through customized window solutions. This role involves understanding client needs, providing expert design advice, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating tailored window treatment designs that enhance both aesthetics and functionality. By collaborating with clients, the candidate will ensure that each project meets their expectations and aligns with their vision. Ultimately, this position aims to drive sales growth while fostering long-term relationships with clients through outstanding service and design expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in home decor or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience with design software or tools.
  • Knowledge of window treatment products and installation techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs and preferences for window treatments.
  • Design and present customized window treatment solutions that align with client specifications and budget.
  • Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to installation, ensuring a seamless experience for the client.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and design techniques to provide informed recommendations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Skills:

The required skills in communication and interpersonal relations are essential for building rapport with clients and understanding their needs. Sales skills will be utilized daily to effectively present and close deals on window treatment solutions. Design skills will come into play when creating tailored solutions that not only meet client specifications but also enhance the overall aesthetic of their spaces. Knowledge of industry trends and products will enable the candidate to provide informed recommendations, ensuring clients feel confident in their choices. Preferred skills in design software will assist in visualizing concepts, making it easier to convey ideas to clients and streamline the design process.
