Koç University Information Technology Directorate is hiring a Wordpress Content Operation Specialist to support the University’s digital ecosystem and large-scale web governance operations. The role will focus on web operations, content governance, stakeholder coordination, and proactive process ownership across multiple university websites and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end web operations across corporate and sub-domain websites (KUHub/CMS and/or WordPress-based properties) including publishing workflows, content updates, and page maintenance.
• Coordinate and track incoming web requests from academic and administrative units; ensure timely follow-up, prioritization, and delivery.
• Drive proactive process ownership in cross-functional projects with technical dependencies (e.g., redirections, migrations, site consolidations, integrations).
• Support the University’s ongoing efforts to improve website quality, usability, accessibility, navigation, and brand consistency.
• Establish and maintain web content standards; apply best practices for structure, compliance, and quality assurance.
• Contribute to SEO and performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with marketing and analytics stakeholders.
• Work with tools such as Screaming Frog, AIOSEO (or equivalent) to elevate content quality and compliance.
• Create and maintain a content production/update calendar aligned with institutional priorities and performance insights.
• Embed and manage web forms (contact forms, request forms, event forms, etc.), ensuring correct configuration and proper routing.
• Coordinate required visual/content assets (images, banners, basic graphics) with internal stakeholders; ensure optimization for web.
• Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, and reporting dashboards for ongoing initiatives and KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in web operations, digital content management, or content marketing (Senior roles: 4+).
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and/or enterprise CMS environments.
• Strong understanding of website content workflows, web standards, and QA practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and coordinate deliverables across teams.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Self-starter mindset; strong ownership of deliverables, timelines, and quality.
Nice to Have
• Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Search Console, or Tag Manager.
• Ability to create simple digital media visuals; experience with Photoshop / Illustrator / Lightroom is a plus.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and web governance frameworks.
• Experience in higher education, large organizations, or multi-site environments.
