Startup Reporter is a fast-growing digital media platform covering the startup ecosystem, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our website—ensuring it remains fast, secure, and visually engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and manage the Startup Reporter website using WordPress CMS
• Customize themes, plugins, and layouts to align with brand and content goals
• Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO readiness
• Troubleshoot bugs, implement fixes, and ensure site security
• Collaborate with editorial and design teams to publish content and improve UX
• Monitor analytics and suggest improvements for engagement and traffic

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development
• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience with theme customization and plugin integration
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization
• Ability to work independently and manage updates with minimal supervision
• Bonus: Experience with media or content-heavy websites
