Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development, technical SEO, and website performance optimization. The ideal candidate will build and maintain a complex, dynamic website that adheres to Google PageSpeed Insights, Core Web Vitals, and on-page SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize complex WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
• Ensure websites are fully optimized for performance, SEO, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Conduct PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals audits; implement improvements to achieve 90+ scores.
• Integrate advanced caching, lazy loading, image optimization, and code minification strategies.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement schema markup, meta tags, sitemaps, and canonical structures.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Maintain WordPress security standards, manage updates, and handle troubleshooting.
• Optimize backend queries and use custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced ACF configurations.
• Work closely with designers to convert Figma/PSD to responsive, pixel-perfect WordPress layouts.
• Manage staging and production environments, ensuring smooth deployment.

Required Skills

• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, REST API, hooks, and filters.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and Yoast/Rank Math SEO.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, and Google Search Console optimization.
• Experience with WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Cloudflare, and CDN integration.
• Understanding of structured data, Open Graph, and JSON-LD schema.
• Familiarity with Git, cPanel, SSH, and server-level performance tuning.
• Knowledge of security hardening, SSL, and site migrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on high-traffic or enterprise WordPress sites.
• Familiarity with Headless WordPress using React/Next.js (bonus).
• Knowledge of WooCommerce or multi-site setups.
• Understanding of GA4, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking.

• PageSpeed Insights: 90+ (Mobile & Desktop)
• SEO Audit Score: 95%+ (Ahrefs / SEMrush / Screaming Frog)
• Core Web Vitals: “Good” status across all metrics
• Zero unresolved technical SEO or console issues
