WordPress Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to build, customize, and manage WordPress websites end-to-end. The role includes website development, technical configuration, performance optimization, security, integrations, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling both site design and core WordPress setup tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites
• Configure WordPress installations, hosting settings, domains, and deployments
• Customize themes and plugins according to project requirements
• Build and manage website layouts using WordPress builders
• Work with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for front-end adjustments
• Manage plugins, updates, backups, and website migrations
• Optimize website speed and overall performance
• Implement website security and error handling
• Integrate forms, APIs, analytics, and third-party tools
• Set up and manage website email functions (SMTP/forms notifications)
• Troubleshoot technical and functional website issues
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Apply basic on-page SEO best practices
• Create or edit responsive HTML email templates when required and ensure compatibility with major email clients such as Outlook

Requirements

• Proven experience in WordPress website development and management
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders
• Understanding of hosting, cPanel, databases, and site migrations
• Experience with website security and performance optimization
• Ability to handle technical integrations and troubleshooting
• Experience of HTML email template structure is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
• Portfolio of completed WordPress websites required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
