Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth performance audits of WordPress websites to identify speed bottlenecks
• Optimize site loading times using image compression, lazy loading, code minification, and best practices
• Implement and monitor optimization strategies to achieve:
• Mobile Page Speed score: 55+
• Desktop Page Speed score: 90+
• Configure and manage caching mechanisms (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, etc.)
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot server-related performance issues
• Improve and maintain Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) within recommended thresholds:
• LCP under 2.5s, FID under 100ms, CLS below 0.1
• Debug and resolve plugin or theme conflicts affecting website performance
• Work with AWS-based hosting environments to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress speed optimization trends and best practices

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with strong expertise in performance and speed optimization
• In-depth knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
• Experience with MySQL database optimization and query performance tuning
• Familiarity with Google Page Speed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse
• Understanding of SEO principles and their relationship with website performance
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, LightSail) for hosting and performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
