WordPress Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer who can handle frontend and backend development, build e-commerce solutions, and work with Shopify and Woo Commerce. The ideal candidate should be able to develop, customize, and maintain high-performance websites with a strong focus on user experience, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Work on frontend (UI/UX) and backend (PHP, database) tasks
• Build and manage Woo Commerce e-commerce stores
• Customize and maintain Shopify stores
• Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness
• Fix bugs, optimize speed, and handle website migrations
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and plugins
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content teams

Required Skills

• Strong experience with WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
• Backend: PHP, MySQL
• Experience with Woo Commerce & Shopify
• Knowledge of REST APIs, hooks, custom post types
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
• Experience with hosting, cPanel, and website security

Preferred (Plus) Skills

• Element or / Gutenberg block development
• Shopify Liquid
• Performance optimization & caching
• Experience with migration tools and staging environments

• Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
