Job Description:

As a HCL TX Backend Developer, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing backend solutions using HCL Digital Experience (DX) and Total Experience (TX) technologies with a focus on platform and core tools development. The candidate is expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable backend systems and provide technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle

• Identify opportunities for introducing best practices in HCL DX & TX architecture, solution design, and

development methodologies

• Contribute to technology roadmap planning and platform modernization initiatives
• Design and develop custom portlets and services using Java and J2EE technologies within HCL Digital Experience Portal environment
• Implement and maintain backend solutions leveraging HCL DX platform capabilities, including WebSphere Application Server administration
• Develop structured content authoring solutions and workflows using Web Content Manager (WCM)
• Integrate backend systems with LDAP, SSO, and authentication frameworks in DX environments
• Optimize DX caching, page aggregation, and rendering pipelines for enhanced performance
• Build and maintain REST and SOAP services integration with HCL components
• Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and maintain DX clusters in production environments
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools for automated deployment processes
• Perform system-level troubleshooting, log analysis, and performance tuning in HCL DX environments
• Optional: Develop omnichannel applications using Volt MX (formerly Kony) platform
• Optional: Hands-on with Leap development and integration with DX applications.

Requirements:

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Relevant technical certifications, such as:
o HCL TX HCL DX
o Azure Cloud or similar
o Relevant Java/J2EE certifications

Other Details:

• Experience: 3-5 Years of Experience
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Work Timings: 9:30am - 6:30pm
• Work Mode: Full Time Onsite in KHI/Islamabad.
