2. About the role

We are hiring a WordPress Developer who can independently manage and deliver client projects from start to finish, while also collaborating with and supporting our developers’ team on larger or more complex builds. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role — ideal for someone who is equally comfortable working solo and as part of a team.

3. Key responsibilities

• Independently plan, build, and deliver WordPress websites end-to-end based on client briefs, with minimal supervision
• Research and select appropriate WordPress themes, plugins, and page builder templates suited to each project's scope and industry
• Source, select, and optimise images and visual assets (stock photography, icons, graphics) appropriate for each client
• Write, structure, and format website content and placeholder copy where required
• Customise themes and build pages using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
• Assist the lead developer on complex or high-priority projects — including custom-built website work, UI/UX decisions, and front-end implementation
• Contribute to UI/UX planning — wireframes, layouts, and visual style guides for custom web development projects
• Handle website maintenance, plugin updates, performance optimisation, and client-reported issues
• Manage direct client communication for assigned projects — collecting requirements, sharing progress, and incorporating feedback
• Support digital marketing-related website tasks such as landing pages, campaign pages, and conversion-focused layouts

4. Required qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Graphic Design, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• 1–3 years of proven WordPress development experience with a portfolio of independently delivered websites
• Strong working knowledge of at least one major page builder: Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and basic PHP for theme customisation and troubleshooting
• Ability to independently interpret a client brief and translate it into a functional, well-designed website
• Experience sourcing themes from ThemeForest or similar marketplaces and matching them to project requirements
• Proficiency in sourcing and editing visuals from stock platforms (Unsplash, Freepik, Shutterstock, or Adobe Stock)
• Good written English — capable of drafting clean, professional web copy
• Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and cross-browser compatibility

5. Preferred / bonus skills

• Experience with Figma or Adobe XD for UI/UX wireframing — especially for custom web development projects
• Familiarity with WooCommerce for e-commerce builds
• Basic SEO knowledge (Yoast SEO, meta tags, image optimisation, page speed)
• Understanding of web hosting environments — cPanel, FTP, DNS, staging setups
• Exposure to digital marketing concepts: landing pages, lead capture forms, CTA optimisation
• Basic graphic editing skills using Adobe Photoshop or Canva

7. Compensation & benefits

Monthly salary PKR 50,000 - 70,000

• Salary based on experience and portfolio strength
• Annual performance review with increment
• Access to premium theme, plugin, and stock image subscriptions

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
