WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist (Full-Time, Onsite – Lahore)

Job Summary:

We are hiring a full-time onsite WordPress Developer to build, customize, and manage advanced websites. The role includes developing a structured WordPress platform, configuring plugins, managing SEO, and entering and maintaining data in the initial stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a complete WordPress websites (custom structure and layouts).
• Create and manage content listings (e.g., hotels, restaurants, transport, services, etc.) with advanced search and sorting features.
• Configure and customize plugins for filters, automation, and data import/export.
• Implement and manage SEO best practices (on-page , off page and technical).
• Integrate Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, AdSense).
• Manage website performance, security, caching, and regular backups.
• Optimize site speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
• Provide weekly progress reports and ensure smooth site operations.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of proven WordPress development experience.
• Strong command of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with custom post types, filters, and directory-style websites.
• Knowledge of data automation tools or import/export plugins (e.g., WP All Import, WP Automatic, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Rank Math or Yoast), schema markup, and page speed optimization.
• Familiar with cPanel, Cloudflare/CDN, and site security plugins (e.g., Wordfence, UpdraftPlus).
• Understanding of Google tools — Analytics 4, Search Console, Tag Manager, and AdSense.
• Basic familiarity with Git/version control is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Fluent in English and Urdu (reading/writing).
• Self-motivated with ownership of project deadlines.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to fast changes.
• Team player with clear communication skills.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications in WordPress or SEO are a plus.

Experience Level:

• Minimum: 3 years of full-time WordPress development experience.
• Preferred: Experience building directory, news, or data-driven websites.

Salary & Benefits (Lahore Market Range):

• PKR 80,000 – 120,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
• Probation period: 3 months.
• Performance-based increments, short bonuses and yearly bonus offered after confirmation.
