Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated WordPress & Shopify Intern to join our development team. This internship is designed for candidates who have a basic understanding of website development and are eager to gain practical experience working with WordPress and Shopify platforms.

The ideal candidate should be willing to learn, possess strong attention to detail, and have an interest in web development and e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress and Shopify websites.
• Create, edit, and manage website pages, products, content, and media.
• Support theme customization and website design updates.
• Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins and Shopify applications.
• Perform website testing, troubleshooting, and bug reporting.
• Ensure websites are responsive and optimized across desktop and mobile devices.
• Assist in implementing basic SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers on assigned tasks.
• Maintain website quality standards and ensure timely task completion.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Understanding of website structure, themes, and plugins.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
• Basic knowledge of WooCommerce.
• Understanding of Shopify theme customization.
• Knowledge of basic SEO principles and website optimization.
• Previous academic or personal projects related to web development.
