WordPress Website Designer & Developer (Remote – Night Shift)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Website Designer & Developer who knows the platform inside and out. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, design sense, and problem-solving ability. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites to ensure top performance, functionality, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly WordPress websites
• Perform website staging, testing, and deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve hosting-related issues
• Identify and fix technical SEO issues (on-page & backend)
• Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals
• Maintain website security, backups, and updates
• Customize themes and plugins as needed
• Ensure responsive design across all devices
• Debug and resolve website errors efficiently

Requirements

• Strong experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, customizations)
• Deep understanding of website hosting environments and server issues
• Proven experience in technical SEO and performance optimization
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with website staging and version control workflows
• Strong design sense and attention to detail
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
• Experience with CDN, caching, and performance tools
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
