WordPress Website Developer (Tech-Focused) — Bahria Town, Lahore

Join our in-house digital team as a WordPress Website Developer and own the full lifecycle of company-wide web projects—from wireframe to launch and ongoing optimization. You’ll translate business goals into fast, secure, and pixel-perfect WordPress sites and landing pages. If you can customise themes, craft your own Gutenberg blocks, and troubleshoot PHP or MySQL issues without breaking a sweat, we want to hear from you.

Develop custom themes and child themes, ensuring clean, maintainable PHP, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS.
Build reusable Gutenberg/ACF blocks and tailor back-end interfaces for non-technical editors.
Optimise site performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, image compression, CDN) and harden security.
Integrate third-party APIs, e-commerce plugins (WooCommerce), payment gateways, and CRM/webhooks.
Monitor analytics & SEO metrics; implement A/B tests and iterative UI/UX improvements.

What Makes You a Fit

• Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant technical discipline—OR equivalent hands-on experience.
• Tech Stack: WordPress/PHP, MySQL, Gutenberg, Advanced Custom Fields, REST APIs, Git, and basic JavaScript (ES6 or React).
• Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Figma-to-code workflows, or headless WordPress (GraphQL).
• Soft Skills: Clear communicator, proactive problem-solver, thrives on tight deadlines and constructive feedback.
• Location & Hours: On-site in Bahria Town, Lahore (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM). One remote day per week possible after first month.
